When you use an infant incubator, you need to pay attention points
The infant incubator is a comprehensive clinical medicine, machinery, computer automatic control, sensors and other disciplines of advanced technology, for premature infants and sick babies to provide an air purification temperature and humidity, an excellent environment similar to the maternal uterus.
The temperature and humidity of the space can be set according to the doctor's order, the baby's body temperature, space temperature, and space humidity are digitally displayed, which exceeds the normal value, and there is an audible and visual alarm to ensure the reliability and safety of the machine.
1. Before using the infant incubator, please read and understand the contents of the manual.
2. Improper operation of the incubator will cause harm to the baby. Therefore, we should be familiar with the use of incubators and the generally known risks and benefits, and must be specially trained to operate them.
3. The incubator must be set at a temperature value after turning on and warmed up for 60 minutes before it can be used.
4. If the incubator sends out a warning message of "power-off alarm", "fan alarm" or "over-temperature alarm", please do not use the incubator. The repair service should be carried out by a qualified person.
5. Before opening the incubator thermostat hood, make sure to cut off the connection of the sensor part.
6. Do not open the incubator thermostat hood. It is not necessary to open the incubator hood at any time while the baby is being cared for in the incubator. All necessary contact with the baby can be carried out via the front door baffle and the operating window.
7. If the front door baffle is opened, the temperature displayed in the temperature display window may not be the actual temperature in the incubator, so do not leave the front door open for a long time.
8. All baffle bolts should be firmly inserted to prevent the phenomenon of opening outside the baffle.
9. In order to ensure the safety of the baby, do not leave the baby unattended in the incubator when the front door baffle is open. Do not open the incubator hood while the crib is being lifted.
10. The use of other assistive devices in the incubator may result in changes in the way air flows, and may also affect the consistency and variability of temperature, as well as the relative relationship between the incubator temperature reading and the central temperature of the crib and the temperature of the baby's skin surface.
11. If there are debris (such as blankets, animal toys, etc.) in the air circulation channel that causes blockage, it will affect the safety of the baby and the performance of the incubator during clinical use.
12. In order to prevent direct radiation from overheating the baby, do not place the incubator in direct sunlight or in a place that receives other radiant heat sources.
13. Do not place blankets or similar objects around the baby or at the vents, as this may cause the baby to overheat, resulting in injury or burns.
14. If the phototherapy equipment is placed too close to the incubator thermostat, it will affect the temperature of the incubator thermostat, the temperature in the incubator and the temperature of the baby's skin surface.
15. In order to operate the incubator correctly, only the skin temperature sensor of the company can be used.
16. Never put a skin temperature sensor on the back of a baby or in their rectum.
17. In the skin temperature control mode, the probe of the skin temperature sensor must be in direct contact with the baby's skin surface to provide accurate temperature control information of the baby's skin surface temperature. In this state, if the sensor probe is not in direct contact with the baby's skin, it may cause the baby's skin to overheat. The baby's temperature must be checked regularly to ensure that the sensors are in the correct contact position to feel if the baby's skin is overheating.
18. The incubator must be fixed on a base by the locking device provided by itself. If it is not secured, the incubator will detach from the frame when it is tilted, especially when the incubator hood is open.
19. The current leakage of all equipment in the incubator, including the devices in the socket part, shall not exceed 500 microamperes.
20. In order to prevent the incubator from hitting or damaging nearby carts, shelves or tables, these items must be placed in a surrounding area at least 30 cm away from the incubator.
21. In order to prevent the incubator from sliding down when it is parked on the slope, the locking casters at the front of the base must go down the slope and lock.
22. In order to prevent accidental disconnection, when adjusting the height of the crib, it should be ensured that there is enough length between each wire, infusion pipe and ventilation duct to the baby mattress, so that the height of the crib can be adjusted in all directions.
23. When moving the incubator, in order to prevent injury or damage, there must be at least one person with the corresponding strength to control the incubator.
24. In order to keep the incubator in the best stable state during the moving process, it is necessary to ensure that all items are firmly fixed in their position before moving.
25. The use of auxiliary equipment that meets the safety requirements of the equipment will reduce the safety performance of the system. The following points must be taken into account when choosing the relevant equipment:
(1) Use assistive devices in the patient area.
(2) Evidence showing that the auxiliary equipment has been tested for safety in accordance with relevant national standards and obtained a safety certificate.
26. The incubator does not have an oxygen delivery device and a humidity control device, if you need to increase the humidity in the box, please add distilled water to the water cup.
27. When the power supply of the whole machine is not connected, the power switch shall not be turned on for a long time, otherwise there will be a power-off alarm and the battery will be wasted.
28. The temperature display module of the temperature controller is susceptible to the interference of electromagnetic field, so it shall not be used in the occasion of high electromagnetic field strength.
29. When the outside of the temperature controller is an F-type 3A fuse tube, it must be replaced with a fuse tube of the same specification, otherwise the safety performance of the system will be reduced.
30. When the instrument is working, the medical staff must check the baby's condition regularly (at least once every 30 minutes), monitor the baby's temperature, and see if there is any overheating or overcooling.
31. If the incubator is used at an ambient temperature lower than 20 degrees Celsius, the incubator may have water mist, but it will not affect the use effect.
